Hi Pania,

We got home Saturday night. Ecuador was a blast, we stayed in the same hotel with Tami and visited our sons sectors together. We met Elder Heimuli, he is doing great and was so happy to see us. Here are some pics I took and Tami took some too. Elder Lesu was so happy to see his son Elder Larson and finally meet his grandson...lol~ When we left I just hugged him and his companion, I told them, we're family, so it's ok.

August 28, 2006 - Baptisms! Agent Heimuli

HI MOM!!

Well, or baptisms went great!! And we have one more this coming week, and two next, so we are going to have alot of baptisms this month!! Were so close to kicking the trash out of the other zones in our numbers, so were working hard!! How are you dioing mom? Is grandma getting better? I hope everyone is ok, according to dad, Hevynn made the team!! I dont know what team yet, but im excited!! I was made the AGENT, which means im in charge of maintainance of our house, its kind of a weak promotion, but oh well. Has school started yet? Hows jordan? Have you not seen him in a while? I wanted his email address because I dont have it, and I just want to konw how every one else is doing! I miss everyone!! And Im looking forward to hearing from you all next week!! August 14 & 21, 2006 - Email (aaarrgh) & Spam (yuummm)

Hi mom!!

Well...I got this one! Haha, yeah how are you!! Things are great here, thank you for the packages, they were awesome!! I was so excited, especially when I met Lesu and his mom, and Boarden and his mom as they were visting here!!This last saturday, we had two baptisms, and I baptized!! It was great I have pictures, but they didnt work through the computer, so I have to find another way to send them. I havent recieved the other emails yet but its ok. So, whats new? What happend with those 21 terorists? And is there really a war in Jeruselum? (Have three prophets gone there, and should I be baptizing everyone that I see?) The SPAM is so goood!! I was so excited, oh, and yes...there Is alot of rice down here. My comp was surprised at how good I could cook, and make rice!(: I love Hevynns, CD!! Everyone is impressed, and Im so proud! Its awesome, I just wish they would have replaced that crappy Japanese guy with more of Hevynn!! Haha..jk, well hows the old ward? I miss that as well, hows gough, I want to email him but dont have his email, I dont have the bishops email either.. really anyones, so It would be cool if you sent me that! Well, just busy busy busy, and we have three baptisms lined p this week end!! so, Im looking foward to that! Well, sounds like Helam is a monster!! Six two and 217!! He weighs more than I do now, I weighed myself on a scale, but it weighs in Kilograms or something, but I weigh somewhere under 210!! So, yeah... Helam is huge! Does he have an email address? July 31, 2006 - Dad, please send Shoe Goo

Hey dad!! HOw are things!! So yesterday i got your letter from japan! but i guess youre home already.. well, things are good, just working hard. Its hard cause the people are really poor, and some of them are still very prideful! we have threee baptism dates set fro next week, and hopefully well have five more!! Oh, and if you need to send me a package, it has to weigh less than four pounds and when its sent, it needs to have a GREEN sticker on it. I pay .50 for green stickers, but 5.00 to 20.00 for white stickers. Um, the adress for packages is:

.. when you send a package, make sure it is sturdy, and if it contains food items, seal it well because rats will try and eat it. And after its reaady to send, put a bunch of jesus stickers, our virgen mary stickers on it, everyone here is catholic, and it will decrease the chances of it getting stolen(: if youre going to send me a package, can you include a thing called SHOE GOO, i wont need shoes for a whle, but there are some cracks in the bottem of my shoe cause there arent roads where im at, just rocks. haha, i miss you guys! OK, I finally read the whole message -- sounds like Mamita and Hermano Silva are great! Are you still in Babahoyo and still with Elder Larson? I'm so glad you got Dad's letter from Japan -- looks like 2 weeks is about the norm for receiving regular mail, huh? Keep practicing piano and you will learn it even sooner if the Lord needs you to play for church. Be careful with your money, son, I know you can budget carefully and make sure you have what you need. How are you doing so far on your area goals? How many lessons out of 25 have you taught, and how many people out of 30 have you found this week? I know you can do it!

I'm so happy to hear about your baptisms coming up in August -- keep going! We got an invitation in the mail for Leah's baptism on August 12th -- very exciting!

Hey MOm!! how are you!! well its the 31, and things are pretty good! All the elders were a bit bummed because of the 24th, and all the fireworks and fun that is going on back home!! but, things are ok here! things are moving, slowly but surely so its ok. Well, I was excited because yesterday i got a letter from dad in japan!! It was crazy!! but everything is fine, um.. i used the money that was on my card, i used it on utilities bill and food, and stuff.. but luckily the president reimbursis us for the utilities... well, i hope everthing is ok!! weve got three baptism dates for next month and were going to set five more hopefully... well, i love you mom!!! talk to you later!!

July 24, 2006 - Bishop Nordfors actually likes being the bishop

well, i just wrote an entire message and the stupid computer isnt working... well, ill have to start over.

sorry i didn´t send the video, these computers realy really really suck. and i don´t understand why? but ill try again, to send that video.. things are good here, how is everyone at home? im going to write dad a email, but yeah email is better, because it will at least get their, if it works in the same day! i got your letters from pouch today, the letters were dated july 10th!! but yeah. Things are good, no baptisms this week because were way too busy resoving doubts and fixing problems with the church! The ward is getting better, and now we have a decent program in which to proselyte with. It make sme really thankful for my wqard back home. when you really think about it, its perfect. Bishop Nordfors actually likes being the bishop, the people can sing... stuff like that. I love the people theyre so nice and they are freindly, but our investigators are dumber than posts... they just dont get it no matter how manys times we explain. Oh well, salvation isnt easy.. and the sooner we all realize it, the easier it will be too except our message, and the easier it will be to for us to not be so frustrated(: well, im gonna look on the bright side, at least the country smells like poop everywhere!(: yeah, the food is so good here, our mamita is awesome! well, everything is good, and i´ll talk to you in a bit!

helam_ hey bud, how are things? i got your fetching chistoso carta, i love it! yeah, people do drive crazy, in fact we saw a guy(who was drunk) get clipped by a bus, he was on a moto scooter, and drove in front of it!! crazy! but were ok... um no, havent been rained on by iguanas, but me and my companion tried to catch one, i have pictures.. but gotta go, luv ya and if you have any questions, just ask!!
