April 28, 2008 - Letter #1, Weird huh? I am having a baptism!

Well, I cant believe that its my last letter from Ecuador to you all. Ill tell you how I feel about this wonderful place when the whole family is together. I am sad to hear about K, but shes in the repentance process already, so I think that shell be fine. And my suit is going to be awesome!! I will receive it next monday. Thank Dad for me for working so hard... I am so grateful for parents like you. I have great news, I am supposedly having a baptism this weekend, so President said that if you want, you can come see it, and attend church in the branch this Sunday if you want. The baptism isnt 100% sure... hopefully all goes well.

(Elder Heimuli's final baptism in Ecuador)

I am so excited and sad at the same time... but with change comes growth right.. I love you all very much, and I will certainly answer all your questions, and tell you wonderful stories when I see you again! You dont have to wait very long. Oh, and my son Elder Peters turns 20 on Friday. I think that he would appreciate a small gift also. Love you Mom, see ya in 144 hours.
