August 13, 2007 - Discipubus

Well, how are things.. Well, everything is fine over here. Just kinda doing the Lords work. Not much going on, although I am learning and growing everyday (Im not getting fatter..). How is the family? Hows Helam doing.. hasnt crashed anything else lately I hope! This week, we had zone conferance, and President Ridd talked alot about LOVE, and how we should love the people. Love is the catalyst of change. The Savior is the perfect example of love. In the October general cpnferance, President Faust talked about becoming a true DISCIPLE of Christ. Discipline and disciple come from the same latin root: Discipubus which means pupil. Not like eye pupils, but those that study... Then President challenged us to become true disciples of Christ, so Im working on that right now. This week has been a real great week, of personal growth and spiritual strengthening. I cant tell y ou about all of the things that I learned, because I would be here for a long time. Neither can I write a small part of what Ive learned. But I have recorded everything in my journal, and after the mission, Ill tell you all, everything that I have learned. The mision has been wonderful, I cant imagine my life, had I not gone on a mission! I know more than ever that this is the true church. Today we were listening to some discourses from seventies, and stuff.. and I heard that Neal A Maxwell said the persecution of the saints will intesify, and the even Salt Lake City will be one of the wickedest cities in the US. Well, I hope that everything is well. Tell everyone hi! I love you Mom!
