Hi mom!! Well, this week has been quite a ride... The Temple was amazing as usual, and Ive started to look for certain things during the session. Antway, after that, we went to the presidents house. The President lives in a really nice house, its on the third floor of a really apartment complex... we had christmas dinner, and it was really really good, turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, pumpkin pie and stuff like that. We sang carols and stuff, then Elder Campos and I went to his appointment.
Ok, so that was the good part about the week. Lets start over. Saturday the week before, after our baptisms, we get to the house. I kind of just leave my stuff hanging around, just cause theres only four people in my house, Two are district leaders, one is my companion, and the other is a really nice Elder from Mesa, Arizona. Tuesday the day before the Christmas party, I go to gather my stuff for the following day, clothes, guitar because I was going to sing, and my camera... I check to see if my battery need s to be powered, and I notice that my card is gone. Now, I started thinking, and figured that I took it out and put it somewhere. I look and I find my card CASE, that is empty. I figure that if I took out my card, i would have put it away. I thought of the possibility that maybe someone broke in and stole it... of cousre they would have taken the entire camera. I asked my comp if a card has dissappeared before in this shouse. He said yes, the only other person that was here the last time this occured was the the comp of the elder from mesa. The christmas party passed and I didnt take photos. I asked everyone in the house reapeatedly, but no one said that they had seen it. I told the Assistents to the President the day after my comp Elder Campos pulled his teeth, about what had happend. The day after that, I was at the house, and I decided to search the bags of this Elder who I metioned before. I found it. Needless to say, I called Elder Dallon, AP and real good friend of mine, and he calmed me down because i was going to kill him. Today, The President interviewed that Elder, and I dont know what happened.
We get home on thurday in the afternoon from Guayaquil to our sector, friday night Elder Campos decides to run a bunch of errands, and we get home late... I really dislike getting home late, so we pull up to the house and we bring in everything from the taxi, my laundry, my comps clothes, and everything....minus my bag. Mom, I had my scriptures which were completely marked, my bank cards, himnarios, temple recommed, prostelyting certifacate, and my camera in that bag.
This week weve also been kicking investigators out of our program that arent progressing, and we havent found a lot of new ones... Im really sorry for losing all that stuff.
As for what that operator said about the account, im pretty sure that isnt right. I had a reciete of the last transaction, i had alot more than that or else I would have pulled money out. The problemn is that it was in my backpack. So im thinking that the banks here are charging a lot when I take out money, or they havent accounted when Dad put money in? One bank charges 1.50 to withdraw, so I started using another one.. the other one never said that they were charging me to pull out money. So, I assumed that they weren´t, of course I could be wrong.. I was wrong about trusting Latins. So, what Im going to do is question whether the banks charge to withdraw. I think that the office will give me a card for Giro soon, and Elder Dallon said that he would hook me up with a new bag, scsriptures and stuff. So, im starting over, Im kind of panicking because I stil dont know my sector really well, its really big. Im going to call you guys on christmas day, even though im gettting a new companion. Elder Campos got changed to Quevedo north, but I gave him his present from you guys, HE LOVED IT!!
I loved it too!! Thank you so much! I appreciate all the letters from everyone!! Thank you for the new shoes, pants, and socks.. I really needed them. The candy is great too!! Well, im hoping that things will calm down, but im shre that they wont. Thank you for all that you do!! I bet youve already got the Missionary mom role down, hopefully when Helam goes, hell know what to do in order to have things move more smoothly! Thanks Mom, Love YOu!!
