Hey!! How are things!! Sounds busy busy busy, I got your package last week, I LOVED IT!!! Harrison is so cute!! Thank you for the package!! It sounds like every one is ok, is dad feeling better? Wow, is helam helping with the driveway, or is he too busy as well? Thats sad about Chris´brother, well, I hope chris is ok. Grandma says that shes doing better, is there anything that i can do other than pray? if so let me know. Oh, I got this email from some missionary mom, i think dad forwarded it... but the thing is that Im in the Guayaquil Northe mission, not south :)! Well, tell the kids that I say hi!! Im going to write a few letters and send them through pouch, so tell them that something is coming.
Well,. this week has been very busy, friday and saturday we had this thing that the ZLs and we have been planning for a while, its called the mision in one day. Friday night the jovenes slept over at the stake center, before they slept over they were taught how to teach and stuff. Then saturday, they had classes and then they went to work in our sectors. There were 36 ¨Elders¨ and ¨Sisters¨ and they were divided to all of the 12 elders in our zone. That day each elder took a copanionship and expierianced the mission. It was funny, i couldnt help but think that i was once like that. Scared, timid, shy... I worked in the hardest part of our sector too, so they had their work cut out for them... Then that night we had a baptism, a kid named Luís, hes been in our program for only a month or so... i was frustrated as to why the other families that have been in our program for months cant seem to gain a testimony... its hard, luckily we have Elder Dallon, who is very smart and he know alot about the gospel, more than i do. Yeah that was a good week, that week we ended up`teaching a total of 36 lessons with 29 new investigators found, and only ONE baptism, its been kinda hard. But, yeah, wednesday last week, we had zone conference, and we listened to Elder Jensen of the 70, it was so good, he talked alot about the importance of music in inviting the spirit, so i always think about you and hevynn. An interesting thing that he said was that, when we are in a formal setting, such as Sacrament meeting, or a conference of some sort, when we give a talk, and want to share a scripture, its important that we give the reference, but dont let the people read it while your talking.... it first, you might think why... Elder Jensen said that you dont want them to focus on the scripture.. also, i thought why? Then he said, our goal is we want the person to hear the message and then FEEL THE SPIRIT. We shouldnt let the person focus on words rather than the spirit. This all probly seems weird, but he said that in meetings that are really important, the doctrine that we teach needs to come SECOND to the SPIRIT that we want them to feel... in those meetings we are feeding our SPIRIT, and in doing so, enlighten our minds.
anyway, that was my week, hectic, but fun, and full of learning.... but i dont feel any smarter, just... tired.. :) Well, thank you for everything mom. Kiss everyone for me!! LOVE YOU!! ciao!!
