March 5, 2007 - It's true...he's not ugly anymore

Hi Mom!! Well, today is super p day, which means that the following monday is changes.. and Its very likely that Im geting out of here. Its kinda sad, I love MANTA.. but Im excited to see what happens next.



Well, this week we didnt work much... because we a had a lot of meetings, wednesday we had our usual District meeting, and thursday, the Zone Conference. Then friday, we had interviews, which went well.. and then the week ended. I turned 10 months old, and in the next change, i think, im going to turn ONE YEAR!! Its all happening so fast, I remember when you dropped me off at the MTC!! Have you guys gotten the new ENSIGN or NEW ERA? Its all about missionary work. Is Helam reading Preach my Gospel? If not, he better... and when I come home, im going to drill him on it... because, thats what I wish I would have studied more...

Wow, so now Matt cant say ALOHA anymore?... That is horrible, but if its true, i guess it has to happen. This last conference, the president and the assistents talked to us about using our proper titles. YOu would think something so small wouldnt matter... but I refer to Porter as ELDER Porter now, and Larson, as DISTRICT LEADER ELDER Larson?.. YEah, so that rule has been put into effect....
SO, something Ive learned is that rules are rules and if you want things to go by easier, your going to obey them.

Wwell, I go t a package the week before, with oreos and pens, that was nice thank you!! Those pens are sweet! I also loved the pictures!! SO DID EVERYONE ELSE!!! I cant show the pictures of Hevynn... because all the teen age boys ask me about her, and make jokes by calling me ¨Cuñado¨ which means, brother-in-law... which isnt funny and only trys my patience, but its true, Hevynn is really ¨Guapa¨.... OH, and HELAM TOo... I showed a picture him to a 17 year old convert of mine, and she keeps calling him, ¨GUapo¨ ¨Lindo¨ and keeps asking me for a picture...its true, hes not ugly anymore. Houston has grown up alot too! Pretty soon he´ll be bigger and taller than I am. Harrison of course, is just as adorable as ever...

This last change, we only had two baptisms.. which is just too bad. The people have seen the changes in their lives, evidence that the church of Jesus Christ is o the earth... but they just dont want to keep going. There have been men, who after being promised a job if they keep following our council, get an amazing job, yet still dont want to progress. Its the saddest thing that someone can expierience...
