Buenas!!
Wow, well.... i guess that im a little behind or something, because in your second to last letter, yes elder dallon mowed in to the house, but we just barely had changes and today i have MY brand new companion, Elder Huerta... hes from Chile, yep thats right... so long english, im just getting to know him. So, Larson, my paps left for Puerto Viejo, and Elder Dallon, was subed as Asistente, so his in a nice cushy office in Guayaquil. Things are ok, last change didnt go so well, we had like 8 dates for baptisms and only one got wet, LUIS. So, yeah, right now i have a new companion and not much of a program to start out with. Im trying, if you could, can you go to the temple and pray for: Ganina Alvarez and her daughter Paulita, they know its true but they just arent complying with our compromisos (sorry, i dont know the word in english) also, the familia Abad, i dont knw what is up with them... and pray for gums (grandma). Other than that, all is well... you said that if i would like something just ask. Im ok, with whatever you send me, i would like some fotos of the kids in action in sports and all... and if you could, some contacts would be nice, my glasses are getting kind of beat up.. but this place is clean enough for contacts... but if you can´t its ok. And maybe a CD Case, i have lots of DvdS that i use as teaching tools, and i dont want thenm to get scratched, sorry if im asking too much.
Wow, sounds like everyone is great!!! Man, I wish i was there, but glad that im not.. because ive got too much stuff to do!!! I miss the ward so much, especially because the ward here is still struggling to survive, theres a joke here amoungst the gringos, we always refer to the US as the place where the church is true... haha, yeah, it sounds apostate, but what it means is just that the members here, always seem to teach apostacy. One guy once was giving a talk to the young men in our ward, and he said that to serve a mision, you MUST read the book of mormon at least three times, then he goes on to say that if you have ever sinned, a greivious sin, that you should be scared to serve a mision for your eternal souls sake... our bishop, wouldnt sign the mision papers of a young man, because the YM , he says has to contribute a minimum of 15 dollars a month, WHEN HE HAS NOTHING!!
Mother, it makes me so mad, how among the leaders of these wards, they teach doctrine WRONG. They focus so much on the doctrine of the church, that they forget one VERY important thing. The Endless Mercy of our savior. I even found some misionaries do this, but dont forget that the lords provides a way for us to overcome all of our sins, without having to walk thru fire and brimestone..
anyway, sounds like all is well, and exciting!! Thats great, im so happy when i get letters from you about all the things you are doing, im going to write in dads letter about the things happing hear, youll want to hear why i was kinda frustrated this past week, well, thank you for sending me packages, You dont even know how happy I become when I see youur letters and stuff... well, talk to you later, LOVE YA!!!! Ciao!!
